CLUB BBQ

The club held it's first summer BBQ at St Judes Rugby Club on Saturday 3rd July. Attended by more than 85 people the event was a huge success.  The weather meant that everyone was able to enjoy the BBQ outside with kids enjoying the games set up.  In particular Dave and his coconuts were a great hit.  The rounders match ended in a 5 all draw so a re match may be on the cards.  As dusk hit the parents were entertained by local group "Chaser" who gave their services free of charge.  Thanks to them and also Marco Pierre Beentjes and John Ramsey - Oliver who kept everyone supplied with hotdogs and burgers till the bar closed, a little mention for OCD Lady who brought everything together as well as everyone else who helped make the event such a hit
